We just finished spending two weeks in Villa Escondida. Fantastic downtown location near fabulous restaurants. Parking for a leased vehicle. Amazing Mexican breakfasts and friendly owners. We had stayed here several times before and weren’t disappointed, and we loved our Mexican holiday. We’ll be back!
We had a terrific stay in the Villa Escondida B & B within their newly opened flat (which does not include breakfast). The apartment is over their house but was extremely quiet and private. The Villa is in a fantastic and safe location, and we enjoyed being close to a few of the best bars and restaurants. Marta made sure our apartment was clean, and continuously emptied our trash daily. He not only let my husband borrow his guitar while we were there but also their darling little dachshund, Millie.
This is our 14th trip to Cozumel, and we have remained in a large variety of motels and condos. We really enjoyed staying at a private residence within the city. You have to choose an open mind and understand that staying in a private home in the town isn’t going to be like staying at a massive motel or condo chain. The water pressure and wiFi are not going to be what you may consider being “American” standards, and additionally, you could object to disposing of all toilet paper from the wastebaskets. We LOVED our stay in the Villa! We were looking for the ultimate guide to snorkeling in cozumel so we can have a nice trip. A guy from the staff told us more about it!
The villa finds just a few moments walk from the ferry piers.
Premises includes just four chambers, so it’s going never to get too crowded. Additionally, it contains a gorgeous and authentic garden with a pool. The pool area is quite small but more than sufficient for the few guests. The rooms had enough space for our requirements. Guests also have direct access to the common kitchenette and lounge area with free drinkable water, a fridge and a freezer with ice cubes so that you can always have cold beverages.
Magda’s fantastic homemade breakfast was served in the garden. The cakes were recently baked. Because the amount of the guests is limited, she can take into account your meals restrictions/diet.
It is worth mentioning the wi-fi works in the rooms and from the garden which can be taken for granted in most areas in Mexico. Value for the price is excellent due to the fantastic location, breakfast and of course because of the wonderful hosts.
