I went to Cozumel to dive with a buddy, so, paying for a hotel room wasn’t worth it, we came a night before and needed to leave the hotel by 8 am, thus a hostel seemed a great option, and we did nail it for this location, beautiful, cozy, clean, full of friendly people, even we slept in a 16 bed dorm, it was amazingly quiet, I JUST LOVED staying here!
This is definitely one of my favorite hostels on earth. I always receive from the staff amazing recommendations like how to hire a driver in cozumel for me and my family. Also, it is a great place to arrange your diving in Cozumel. They operate with Scuba Mao, maybe not the lowest but regular prices, it is the great diving school that attracts you to the very best diving areas and only works with certified instructors and equipment (unique compliments to the beautiful Nichan, very relaxed and funny man but a total professional when it comes to diving!)
I was very nervous for my discover scuba dive, but my instructor gave me the confidence to continue, and after my first dive I immediately signed up to receive my open water PADI. A fantastic plus is that nearly everyone in this hostel is sold here for diving (not much else to do in Cozumel) so you frequently dive with people you’ve met in the typical garden. If you go diving in Cozumel, then go to this place.
I stayed for 6 days to go diving in Cozumel. The hostel is charming with an excellent chill out space, with chairs and hammocks to relax in. The little kitchen serves food all day and into the day, with delicious mojitos. The breakfast is quite basic (just fresh fruit), so you need to get some additional stuff. There was brilliant live audio on the Sunday nighttime. The staff is all, and a few remain with the guests at the dorms.
I did locate that the hostel quite noisy as all the rooms face onto a courtyard in the center and people stayed up late playing music and speaking.
I saw this place a couple of years back and it seemed interesting, but I was not prepared to reside here. Then my daughter came here looking for a hostel. This place is ideal. Now. There are calm and reflective spaces, an area for massage, excellent food support. And reasonably priced. Just a small walk from the town center, I highly recommend this spot for a cozy stay.
We did only spend two days here but still got to understand the place. It’s a pleasant atmosphere here, and the backyard is ideally made for creating travelers to fulfill each other. Many different hostels do not have this place where people meet in this simple manner. When it’s essential for you to with some solitude, maybe you should think about something else, cuz the rooms are always open along with the baths and showers are spread out a bit. But if you do not mind that I would certainly recommend this hostel. The place is pretty good, and the staff is amicable and helpful. You can also reserve many different excursions, tours, diving, etc with help from them. You could also rent scooters and bikes at a fantastic price.
